Hi, I’m Libby, a Montessori infant and toddler guide with a background in psychology and child and adolescent mental health.
Love brought me to Switzerland where I studied a diploma in Montessori pedagogy for babies and toddlers and worked for several years in a bilingual Montessori early childhood environment. Now we are raising two bilingual boys and enjoying everything Switzerland has to offer.
Living in Switzerland has taught me about the joy to be found in the rhythm of the seasons. Each new season brings new changes to observe in nature as well as new foods, traditions, and celebrations to enjoy.
A Montessori Year is not just about Montessori but also about experiencing and celebrating the seasons with small children in ways that allow them to participate meaningfully.
